All About the Author

William Hill is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He first learned to read through superhero comic books, then spy-thrillers, SciFi and finally fantasy novels. As a youth, "Bill" spent many weekend nights watching Science Fiction and Nightmare Theater.

Although not a military brat like Danny Chase of the Magic Bicycle, Bill has lived in many places, including Prairie Village, KS; Bristol, TN; around Dallas and Denton, Texas; and in south and north Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Bill has a "serious" degree from Vanderbilt University in Economics and an MBA from the University of North Texas.

Since realizing that writing was his best talent and gift, Bill escaped the restrictive drudgery of the corporate world to craft his tales. Along with working in Human Resources, Bill has been employed as an 'alchemist" in South Lake Tahoe and a ski patroller in North Lake Tahoe.

Writing fantasy is Bill's first love and Wizard Sword is his seventh novel and his first piece of epic fantasy.

Bill, his lovely and supportive wife, Kat, and their son Brin Ryan, live in the shadow of the eastern Sierras in the south Carson Valley. Bill intends to write imaginative fiction and fantasy until dirt is shoveled upon his coffin.
