DAWN OF THE VAMPIRE (Pinnacle Books, 1991, in its third printing). A supernatural thriller about friendships with bonds as strong as blood and the discovery of a clan of vampires that can thrive even in the sunlight. During a reunion, long-time friends get caught between two clans of warring vampires -- one believing in the old ways, and the other interested in evolving into creatures that can interact with and hunt humans during the day.

VAMPIRE'S KISS (Pinnacle Books, 1994, in its first printing). A psychological thriller in which everyday monsters are just as horrible as those from the realms of darkness and fantasy. This story takes place southwest of Dallas on Cedar Creek Lake, north of Trinidad. A successful but ill author is besieged by locals who believe he is the perpetrator of several strange deaths. A beautiful female vampire who believes the author is one of her kind seeks his secret to being filmed and photographed.

THE MAGIC BICYCLE (Otter Creek Press, 1997. Nearing a 2nd printing.). A whimsical tale combining the best of A Wrinkle in Time, Jonathan Livingston Seagull and Calvin and Hobbes. Written for the young, young adults, and the young in spirit, this story is about a trouble boy who, along with his cat, helps an alien escape the government. In return, he receives a magic bicycle powered by his imagination. Upon discovering that it can time travel, he begins a quest to learn if he should change time to save his mother and sister from the car accident that killed them. Danny and his talking cat visit Socrates, Benjamin Franklin, HG Wells and Einstein. This novel has received great reviews from Booklist, Bookpage and other American Association of Librarian periodicals.

CALIFORNIA GHOSTING (Otter Creek Press, 1998). Hill's first hardcover, this psychological and supernatural thriller has lots of mystery and romance. A handsome young man inherits a haunted luxury resort. During due diligence, his dead uncle's attractive and fiery attorney convinces him to begin a murder investigation, seeking why and who killed the co-founder. Is the murderer alive or a ghost?

THE VAMPIRE HUNTERS (Otter Creek Press, 1998). Initiates into a new gang are charged with proving that the strange and infamous Hollywood movie director is a vampire. When deaths occur and gang members disappear, Scooter, Kristie and Paul seek answers and discover that there may be more than one vampire in Gunstock.
